The CBX125 Custom was the American-style cruiser sister of the CBX125F, sharing its four-valve DOHC single but with a five-speed gearbox, pulled-back bars, a stepped seat and a fat 16-inch rear tyre. It was aimed at learners who wanted chopper looks in a light, economical package. Honda kept it in the Japanese catalogue for over a decade, retuning it for more low-down pull in 1993 at the cost of a little peak power.
